According to actual scale, the length of buildings would be more than 210m.It’s long as like King’s cross station. I’m in PANIC…

Is this basia’s work? -_-;;
Comment by kilsue March 8, 2008 @ 9:53 pmHi HS, your project is a farmscape, not a museum. I think it’s important to distinguish issues such as length and dimensions in a farm typology:
1 – What is actually 3d landscape and what is building envelope? I think you mixed both while doing the diagram. In order to connect both sides (good and bad) you don’t have to use a massive volume, you can either use suspended passages or elevated green platos.
2- In case you want to have your building more horizontal than vertical (210 meters long instead 210 meters high for example), you should take into consideration phasing strategy and expansion techniques. If your idea of urban farming warms up you would expand your envelope, massing, facilities, etc.
Good luck and there is no reason for panic.
