Hi everyone – I hope that this works!
Ok, so not meaning to make anyone panic – but I checked to see whether I needed to have any immunisations for going to Cairo and it turns out that I had to have two – covering me for tetnus, diptheria, polio and something else that I cant remember…
Anyways, I dont dont how it works for non – british students, but it might be worth investigating (even though technically I was meant to have the jabs at least a 10days before so the antibodies could build up).
If this post works correctly, I also just wanted to ask Ricardo and Nannette if we will be travelling at any point away from Cairo during the trip, still remaining in Egypt – because ultimately some areas have a high risk of malaria without immunisation…
Sorry to hve to mention all this medical stuff before the trip!tc
