Hi guys, I’ve been trying to tidy the unit space a bit and was wondering if we could divide the shelving into 12 spaces and have a bit each? The modular shelving system means we can add more shelves if we want. I’ve cleared out the space at the top of the ladder to give more room for larger models. Let me know what you think as it would be nice to have a bit more order in there. Thanks!

I was intrigued by Tobias Klein’s mention of an ecology of space, so did a very rough drawing study of how the niche can be expressed in a spacial configuration. The drawings represent the particularities of a colony, how they might bloom, and the spaces they can animate and inhabit between them. It’s the start of an investigation of how to encourage interaction between differing groups in my project. I would like to refine this and make it more specific to site – comments and suggestions welcome!

Hydroponic farming creates new forms of produce in these… melons? Gary, perhaps your market farm could grow vegetables in shapes forced by their configuration.. truly bespoke cuisine.
