I have went to The British Museum searching for inspiring objects, tools and architectural elements found  in South America. I was interested in artifacts that carried rituals qualities and which embedded symbols and believes. The purpose was to interweave an invented ceremony for the measuring process of the limes and herbs (the resources) and their brewing to one refreshment aiming to sharpen the mind.

In the first drawing I determined to myself a generic order of the process in a highly technical way (only to inform a sequence of actions). My intention now, is to fabricate an open space where the ritual will take place. I borrowed the idea of symbolizing every step of the ceremony and each portion of the designed area. I scaled down the design as we discussed to a four people operation, while parts of the areas are submerging into the ground and others protruding above ground (emphasizing Mother Nature). Image
