For online tutorial,

Happy Sunday! 🙂

Before showing photos, I have to apologize for poor quality renders in progress. Cause I’m formatting windows now n couldn’t manage to install vray for now.. 😦 However, just to show how it goes, I guess quality for now is not a big deal.

Basically, I’m constructing space through 3D modeling now. Base lines are extracted from section and plan drawings that I’ve done ealier. Main two things that I want to show are 1. Canopy and 2. Storage blocks.

As you see above, on the middle on site, there is canopy which allows workers to access to drying yards on rooftops where they expose plastics to dry. It has not only function of bridges but also they can spread pellets(recycled materials) along the canopy. It would give amalgam of working space and public space. Maybe if the material of canopy could be punched surface, like net, it could drop moment of shadow and blinking sunshine to auction space underneath.

2. Storaging blocks( I need to find right name)

It is composed with few components, two stands(above), one moving partition(above) and fabric wall that allows blocks to have changing volume(which is not above yet). I’m planning of having program depends on events(auction day and non-auction(working) day). To use one space with differents skims, after all materials are sold, workers who reside around can use space in different way, working or celebrating. Therefore, it is needed to test with possible formations for stands.

Here I am at the moment. And now I’m working on shape and movement of perfomance tower. But I guess I will work with physical soft model and refine it in 3D model. Please leave what you think.  🙂

Have a great weekend! Ciao 🙂

These machines are, basically, for setting your hair curly!

Strangely, I never thought that this could be so eccentric for people from other culture.. just wow!

I don’t know anyone will find it out interesting, but for me it is!

Basically, he proposes kinda alternative architecture to desert area by having biological material, i call reinforced sand, within problematic situation which is ‘forced migration’ because of desertification.

Well, if you’re interested in this topic too, check this TED out.

Check this out!

based Eriksen Skajaa Architects’ proposal about Urban Beehives was recently acknolwegded in the  Triennale. The project explores how biodiversity can act as a catalyst for urban development and generate ideas to respond to social diversity. The study examines the environment of the Aker River as an infrastructure for urban food production as well as an apiary at the Vaterland Park.   The proposal intends to illustrates how biodiversity, small-scale urban gardening and food production can contribute to a new layer of urban development centered on the riverbanks.
