Good morning guys –

I was wondering if anybody had any servos kicking around from the arduino workshop which they didn’t need, and could give to me (for money or for free). If so, could you bring them in today? Need a couple of servos for a quick prototype test

In preparation for the upcoming Rhino workshop on Saturday please could you email us some specific ‘how to’ questions you may have if possible related to your project. From any tools you heard about but don’t know how to use, any shapes you don’t know how to model (please attach example images) to camera set-up/V-Ray rendering, etc… no matter how basic or advanced.

The more you ask the more specific and useful the workshop can be! Please email us by tomorrow lunch time.

Happy Sunday! by hnraaa

For online tutorial,

Happy Sunday! 🙂

Before showing photos, I have to apologize for poor quality renders in progress. Cause I’m formatting windows now n couldn’t manage to install vray for now.. 😦 However, just to show how it goes, I guess quality for now is not a big deal.

Basically, I’m constructing space through 3D modeling now. Base lines are extracted from section and plan drawings that I’ve done ealier. Main two things that I want to show are 1. Canopy and 2. Storage blocks.

As you see above, on the middle on site, there is canopy which allows workers to access to drying yards on rooftops where they expose plastics to dry. It has not only function of bridges but also they can spread pellets(recycled materials) along the canopy. It would give amalgam of working space and public space. Maybe if the material of canopy could be punched surface, like net, it could drop moment of shadow and blinking sunshine to auction space underneath.

2. Storaging blocks( I need to find right name)

It is composed with few components, two stands(above), one moving partition(above) and fabric wall that allows blocks to have changing volume(which is not above yet). I’m planning of having program depends on events(auction day and non-auction(working) day). To use one space with differents skims, after all materials are sold, workers who reside around can use space in different way, working or celebrating. Therefore, it is needed to test with possible formations for stands.

Here I am at the moment. And now I’m working on shape and movement of perfomance tower. But I guess I will work with physical soft model and refine it in 3D model. Please leave what you think.  🙂

Have a great weekend! Ciao 🙂
